Quality Improvement and learning are at the centre of accreditation. To assist organizations as they work toward accreditation, we have developed a number of tools.
Once an organization has registered, it receives a preparation manual to assist them to interpret the standards. It also outlines the necessary documents and data needed to meet each standard.
A Self Assessment is also part of the registration package. It is used to establish where the organization currently stands,and determine where it needs to go, and what the priorities are.
Telephone & Online Supoort
FOCUS provides toll-free telephone support and monthly videoconference calls to support all registered organizations. FOCUS can clarify information, offer suggestions and guide you to where you can find help.
Quality Enhancement Network
This online community of practice connects organizations. The Community of Practice offers members an opportunity to participate in discussions and share resources with other organizations who are also interested in improving the Quality of Service.
Organizations receive a database specifically developed for FOCUS’ accreditation process. It enables organizations to compile information in one spot, track progress, produce reports and minimize duplication with other quality assurance requirements.
